Our project in Smithson Tower is shortlisted for the 2022 AJ Retrofit Awards
Our project for a confidential investment client in the iconic Smithson Tower has been shortlisted for the 2022 AJ Retrofit Awards in the ‘Workplace Fit-out’ category. Every year the awards, held by The Architects’ Journal, highlight projects that have repurposed and refreshed existing sites across multiple sectors. They celebrate the significant environmental benefits of working with an already existing structure – certainly the way forward in creating a more sustainable industry and future.
The project, on the 11th floor of the Grade II listed tower, was designed by Conform Architects, predominantly residential designers who have given the space an open and homely feel. Clean lines, a minimal palette, and clever use of texture make this project really stand out. We delivered a fit-out of the highest quality, with bespoke features throughout. The attention to detail is what really sets this project apart and we are so delighted and honoured that the space has been nominated for this prestigious award.
