Working in the community: Tower Hamlets Foodbank

The Tower Hamlets Foodbank Project is an innovative multi-faceted care delivery initiative. Those most in need in society are given emergency food parcels, enough to last them three days minimum, but importantly the Foodbank also acts as a referral point for further social services helping to ensure that people can access the help and support they need.

With Genslers design expertise and ODGroup’s invaluable management expertise we were able to deliver a highly successful fit out, providing Foodbank’s staff with the best possible work setting, both functional and fun, to allow them to continue their good work.

We’re enormously proud to have worked with Gensler to deliver an attractive new administrative HQ for the wonderful people at Tower Hamlets Foodbank. Through the enormous generosity of our subcontractors, we were able to deliver this project free of charge.

“CSR is extremely important to ODGroup and we like to use our expertise to help where we can. London is where the majority of our work takes place so to be able to give back and assist with such a wonderful project in our home city is very rewarding.”
