ODGroup is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Dixon as Project Director and Nick Cornish as Commercial Director, new leaders of the Major team – ODInteriors’ traditional contracting arm specialising in CAT A refurbishment solutions with structural capability.
Andrew and Nick’s approach is one of integrity and transparency. Their 35 years’ combined experience, a proven successful partnership, as well as a strong track record of leadership and delivery, position them perfectly to lead the Major team into its next chapter.
Having previously built a successful division from the ground up, they bring with them a shared ambition to replicate their past achievements and further strengthen the division’s reputation in the industry – delivering exceptional refurbishment projects with a clear focus on quality, teamwork, and client trust.
Andrew has a wealth of leadership experience shaped by a 14-year military career before transitioning into the construction industry. Over the past 18 years he has worked his way from Construction Manager to Divisional Director, consistently championing teamwork, accountability, and pride in delivery.

Andrew and Nick’s leadership style places as much importance on the individual as it does the wider team, fostering a culture of ownership, ideas, and a genuine sense of responsibility – not just to the project, but to each other. The pair’s approach is grounded in honest conversations, even when they’re difficult, building trust and accountability at every level.
Nick joins as Commercial Director following 19 years in the industry. He began his career as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, steadily progressing to lead major projects and ultimately taking on Director-level responsibilities in the successful division he built alongside Andrew. Nick brings an in-depth understanding of commercial strategy and delivery, underpinned by hands-on experience and a team-focused approach.
“Growing a team with a clear and concise strategic direction is what we do best, and that’s exactly what we plan to do with this division,” said Cornish. “There’s a clear commitment here to doing things the right way, especially within the already strong ODInteriors team. We’re looking to build on existing foundations, grow the division, develop relationships, and deliver projects we can all be proud of.”
Alongside this open and people-focused leadership style, Andrew and Nick bring a comprehensive and detail-driven mindset as Divisional Directors with a focus on strategic growth.
