Due to a growth in headcount, Microsoft needed to expand their current office space on the 4th floor down to the 2nd floor in Cheltenham House. ODInteriors was therefore appointed to deliver a 5,000 sqft fit-out of the 2nd floor as well as refurbishments to the 4th floor.
The project was designed and delivered under Microsoft’s bespoke sustainability deliverables which comprises of handpicked elements of LEED. Critical to the delivery of the Microsoft project has been the verification and approval of materials with no added formaldehyde and low VOC, installation of increased HVAC filtration and the monitoring and reporting of construction and demolition waste.
Key to the successful delivery of the Microsoft project has been the clear communication of the client’s sustainability aspirations ensuring a whole team response to deliver project sustainability, ultimately resulting in a project that minimises its impact on the planet whilst prioritising health and wellbeing.
