Dorchester Collection is a unique collection of nine iconic hotels and addresses across the world.

ODInteriors successfully assisted The Dorchester Group in moving to their new office space in 1 Knightsbridge, London. ODInteriors delivered a Cat B fit out for the client to the upper ground and third floors of the building.

A hidden tea point was introduced to the upper ground floor, allowing the client to entertain guests while maintaining the privacy of their breakout areas. Meeting room space was optimised on the upper ground floor with the introduction of a bi-folding wall, creating separation in the existing meeting space.

Attention to detail was important to the client; their office space had to reflect the same level of luxury as their hotels and residences. Adhering to this, feature lighting and ceilings where introduced on the third floor, alongside stone tops for the tea points. Specialist joinery was also necessary to create an optimal cloakroom area for internal use.

Sustainability has been integrated in the design and delivery of the the Dorchester Collection fit out at 1 Knightsbridge. The project is targeting ‘Gold’ SKA Rating incorporating a range of sustainable initiatives. The materials used have been specified and sourced to increase sustainability standards including environmental product declarations, sustainably sourced timber and low global warming potential insulation. Circularity has been considered in the design by maximising reuse of the existing ceiling and installing demountable glazed partitions.
